In addition, the scan window is made from a shatterproof material and is diamond coated to resist scratching. Added protection, provided by a frictionless scan mechanism and shock mountings for all internal optical components, ensure that PowerScan is the most rugged family of industrial handheld scanners on the market.
PSC’s QuickScan family of high-value scanners include both on-counter hands-free and handheld scanners that are ideal for low-to-medium volume POS applications such as those in convenience, specialty, and drug stores, as well as kiosks. Some units are so versatile they can even be removed from their on-counter bases and be used for single or multiple line handheld scanning.
